[av_dropcap1]T[/av_dropcap1]rue Story. We’d never heard this term before; apparently, it’s a new viral slang that means “Perfectly done, or exactly right” according to Merriam-Webster. Really though, it’s a wonderful compliment – a customer we can only describe as being “in the 420 industry”, a subculture of it’s own, texted us to let us know how great their new stainless steel cards are.
They described their new Metal Kards as being on fleek, a term we had never heard before and had to immediately google. Apparently, it’s quite popular and somewhat controversial – the inventor, a woman by the name of Peaches, is now crowd funding for royalties on the term in a social way, to start her own cosmetic line, we’ve read on Mashable (with the original video coining the phrase). We wish her the best of luck, and of course can’t help but chuckle a little bit about receiving a compliment we had no idea the meaning of. Thanks though, it’s always great to hear how much our customers appreciate their kards!
As far as we know, we are the only Metal Business Cards that are currently On Fleek…
