A light surface for a color-led identity.
White metal business cards give your artwork a light backdrop over a steel foundation. Choose reflective Gloss White or low-shine Matte White, then arrange printed color, lettering and etched details around the open space. Four thicknesses let you pair that white finish with the card profile you prefer.

1 Your next step
A white finish puts the focus on your logo, color and open space. Compare gloss and matte, choose your card weight, and build a crisp design that brings your identity to the foreground.

2 Choose the finish
Gloss White adds bright reflections; Matte White creates a softer setting for color, lettering and open space.
Gloss finish
Bright and reflective, with a glossy sheen that brings printed colors forward.
Matte finish
A soft, low-shine white that keeps attention on your logo, lettering and color.
3 Choose the weight
The light appearance does not determine the steel thickness. Compare 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 and 1.0mm profiles, then pair your preferred edge with gloss or matte white and the layout of your artwork.
Slim
A lighter profile that gives white artwork a fine edge.
Original
Classic steel weight beneath gloss or matte white.
Credit Card Thick
More edge and heft for a bright white card.
Extra Thick
A substantial white-finished edge; 1.0 mm stock is a paid upgrade, with the opener cut included.
For white metal cards, Credit Card size is 85 × 54 mm and Business Card size is 89 × 51 mm. Both are included. Request a quote for custom sizing.
4 Make your mark
Give each part of your design a job. Combine techniques for depth, color and texture, all selected in the builder.

Etching
Use etched detail as another treatment alongside printed artwork on white steel. Standard etching and silver laser etching are included. Identify the intended mark in your files rather than using a simulated shadow to show it; full-bleed etching is a paid option.

Color
A white background gives a colored logo a different setting from exposed or dark metal. One printed color is included. Plan additional colors, full-color artwork and printing to the edge as paid options, and leave enough space for the name and contact details to remain clear.
5 Add function
A white surface leaves room for a color-led logo and a clear name treatment. Keep the hierarchy consistent when individual details change across a team.
6 Artwork
Show the white areas you want to leave open as well as the printed and etched details. Send outlined vector files or choose paid help developing the artwork.

7 Before you order
Finishes, thickness, artwork and upgrades: the practical answers before you build.
Gloss White makes reflection part of the surface, while Matte White keeps the sheen lower. Compare that difference with the mood of your logo and the amount of printed color in the design. Both are white finishes over a steel foundation, not white paper stock.
Yes, full-color printing is a paid option for designs with several hues, photographs or gradients. One printed color is included as standard. If the artwork reaches the edge, account for paid full-bleed printing too; full color and edge coverage are separate choices.
Provide outlined vector lettering and a clear indication of printed, etched and unprinted areas. The open white space is part of the composition, so preserve its proportions around the logo and contact details. Include the selected gloss or matte finish and your color references in the notes.
Gloss White has a bright, reflective sheen. Matte White offers a softer, low-shine surface. Both give logos, lettering and printed color a clean white backdrop.
0.5mm is our included standard. Choose 0.3mm for a lighter, more flexible card, 0.7mm for the feel of a metal credit card, or 1.0mm for maximum heft and the option of a bottle-opener cut. Illustrations on this page are not to scale.
Standard 0.5mm stainless steel, business-card or credit-card size, one silkscreen enamel color and standard etching. Choose your white finish and review your complete specification before ordering.
One silkscreen enamel color is included and you can add up to eight in total. Enter a PMS or HEX reference so we can match your brand. Full-color CMYK printing is available for photographs and gradients.
Standard etching, included, removes about 10% of the surface. Deep etching goes about halfway into one side for bold shapes and is not offered on 0.3mm. Prism etching leaves a knurled pattern of tiny dots, and frosted etching a textured, frosted surface.
Credit Card size (85 × 54 mm) fits wallets and most card holders, so we recommend it. Business Card size (89 × 51 mm) matches paper cards but will not fit credit-card sleeves. Both sizes are included.
Yes. Variable laser etching or variable color printing adds up to seven lines of about 24 characters per card. Upload your list as an Excel file in the builder. QR codes, magnetic strips and encoding are also available.
Outlined vector artwork in AI, EPS, PDF or SVG format, with linked files embedded. Bitmap images are only suitable for full-color printed areas. Without production-ready files, choose the Metal Card Design Package or set up artwork later.
It is a paid add-on in the artwork step. Our in-house design team creates one design per company and shares online mockups, making changes until it is right to start production.
The standard finish, 0.5mm steel, card size, one printed color, standard etching, silver laser etching and an identical QR code across your set are included. The bottle-opener cut is included on 1.0mm cards; thicker steel is an upgrade. Full-bleed printing, full-bleed etching and full-color printing are paid upgrades, not inclusions.
Ready when you are
